Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party
Begins June 23 and runs through August 28, 2009. This includes a self service buffet at the Tomorrowland Noodle Station with sweets and beverages and exclusive viewing of Wishes, the nightly fireworks. Cost is $17.99 for 10 and over, $9.99 for guests 3-9. Reservations are not required but seating is limited (407-WDW-DINE). Space permitting, there may be seating available for walk-ups. Currently the Disney Dining Plan is not accepted. Prepayment is required. Reservations will be available beginning June 22, 2009.


Princess Diana Exhibit at Downtown Disney
"DIANA – The People’s Princess" will be opening in early July 2009. If you loved Princess Diana's style and glamour, you'll love this. This limited time exhibit includes five rarely seen royal dresses worn by Princess Diana, and showcases her life and story. The collection will be on display in the spot that once held the Virgin Megastore at Downtown Disney West Side. Being presented by The People’s Princess Charitable Foundation, this is one of the largest collections of royal dresses and rare artifacts ever assembled for an American audience.

The exhibition will be on display through November 30, 2009. Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. Tickets may be purchased at the exhibit: $14.50 (ages 10 and above), $5 (ages 3-9).


Photopass CD price increase
The price of a Disney photopass CD has increased from $130 to $150.  You are able to preorder your CD online for $99.95  You can purchase your cd online once you get home from your vacation, or at select locations in each Disney theme park.

New restaurant at Downtown Disney - Paradiso 37
A new restaurant has opened at Downtown Disney - Paradiso 37 is located overlooking Village Lake on Pleasure Island.  The menu features North, Central, and South American cuisine. And the restaurant also sports a wine and tequila bar.   This table service restaurant will be open daily for lunch, dinner, and late-night dining.  Restaurant hours: Sunday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.  Advance reservations are available by calling the restaurant directly at (407) 934-3700. NEW Water Park Premium Seating
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach now have 4 Premium spaces are available for rental daily. Kathy Werling discussed the new areas on last weeks episode of the DIS Unplugged.

Southwest Airlines added to Magical Express
Disney has added Southwest Airlines to it’s Magical Express service on a trial basis.  Right now the service is only available to guests who book a Disney package and are staying at the Pop Century resort, although the service is expected to be expanded to other resorts in the near future.
